Undergraduate for International Students Admission

GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENT FOR BACHELOR DEGREE


Academic qualifications of Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (Higher School Leaving Certificate –HSC) 

or 

Diploma recognized by the Malaysian Government 

or equivalent: 

 

 

  • A pass in the ‘A’ Level examination or equivalent with a minimum of Grade C inany three (3) subjects ;or 
  • A pass in the Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate (at least 12 years duration of studies (6+3+3)) or according the qualification list for MQA international students;or 
  • A Diploma or other equivalent qualification with a minimum of 2.50 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) deemed to be of equivalent standing from the Malaysian Government and approved by the UPSI Senate; 
  • A pass in the ‘O’ Level examination or itsequivalent ;and 
  • Have sat for TOEFL (iBT) with a minimum score of 40 or; 
  • Have sat for International English Language Testing System (IELTS) / IELTS (Online) with a minimum score of 5.0 or; 
  • Have sat for Cambridge English Qualifications and Test : Linguaskill Online with a minimum score 154 or; 
  • Have sat for Malaysian University English Test (MUET) with a minimum score of Band 3.5.

 

PROGRAMME REQUIREMENT


Fulfill the university general requirements; 

and

Required a minimum Grade C in A-Level or equivalent entry level in Physics

or

A pass in Diploma with CGPA 2.50 in any of the following field: 

                •  Science 
                •  Mathematics 
                •  Engineering Civil/ Electrical/ Electronic/ Mechanical 
                •  Laboratory Science
